LOGAN, Utah – Utah State running back Jaylen Warren has reportedly entered his name in the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Warren was in the middle of his senior season with Utah State. In three games played this season, Warren has rushed for 252 yards on 39 carries and three touchdowns. He has dealt with injuries this season and in 2019. The East high alum is not on Utah State’s roster online anymore.

In 2019, Warren played in 12 games, while rushing for 569 yards and 5 touchdowns. National college football writer Chris Hummer of 247Sports reported the move by Warren.

The Salt Lake City, Utah native joined the Aggies as a junior college transfer from Snow College. Hawai’i and Utah State were the only schools to offer him out of JUCO, according to 247Sports. Warren did not play in USU’s win over New Mexico on Thanksgiving Day.

Utah State will turn to former Ute Devonta’e Henry-Cole and true freshman duo John Gentry and Elelyon Noa to carry the load at running back. Quarterback Andrew Peasley led the team in rushing against New Mexico with 118 yards and one touchdown. Henry-Cole had the most yards at running back against the Lobos with 53 on 10 carries.

The Aggies will be back at Maverik Stadium on Thursday, December 3 when they host Air Force at 7:30 p.m. MST on CBS Sports Network.
