Jazz Announce Three-Game Preseason Schedule

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz will play two home games as part of their three-game preseason schedule. The team announced the schedule on Friday.
The Jazz will open the season at Vivint Arena on December 12 when they host the new-look Phoenix Suns. The Jazz will again host the Suns on December 14 in Salt Lake City before finishing their preseason schedule on the road against the Los Angeles Clippers on December 17.
Jazz Preseason Schedule:
Saturday, December, 12: vs. Phoenix Suns at Vivint Arena – 7 pm MT
Monday, December, 14: vs. Phoenix Suns at Vivint Arena – 7 pm MT
Thursday, December 17: @ Los Angeles Clippers @ STAPLES Center – 8 pm MT
The Suns promise to be one of the more exciting teams in the Western Conference this season. After winning all eight of their seeding games in the Orlando Bubble, the Suns acquired All-Star point guard Chris Paul and former Jazzman Jae Crowder.
Television and radio broadcast plans will be announced at a later date for the preseason games. Fans will not be allowed to attend the Jazz preseason home games.
The NBA will feature a 49 game preseason schedule, with each team required to play at least two games and no more than four games.
“The 2020-21 regular season will tip off on Tuesday, Dec. 22 and feature 72 games for each team.,” The Jazz preseason schedule release read. “As previously announced, the regular-season schedule will be released in two segments. The schedule for the First Half of the season (Dec. 22, 2020 – March 4, 2021) will be released in the coming days.
“The schedule for the Second Half of the season (March 11 – May 16, 2021) will be released during the latter part of the First Half portion of the schedule. The Second Half schedule will include the remainder of each team’s 72 games not scheduled in the First Half as well as any games postponed during the First Half that can reasonably be added to the Second Half schedule.”
