BYU Torches Net For 10 First Half Three-Pointers Against Westminster

PROVO, Utah – The BYU men’s basketball team knocked down double-digit three-pointers during the first half against the Westminster Griffins.
The Cougars hosted the Griffins at the Marriott Center on Wednesday, November 25.
During the opening 20 minutes of action, BYU was hot from downtown and drilled 10 triples.
Guards Alex Barcello and Brandon Averette led the Cougars with two makes from beyond the arc.

Kolby Lee, Connor Harding, Wyatt Lowell, Gideon George, Spencer Johnson, and Trevin Knell each buried a three.

The Cougars went 10-23 from distance for 43.5 percent in the half.

Barcello led all scorers with 16 points on 6-10 shooting, including 2-4 from downtown.
11 BYU players scored in the first half, helping the Cougars to a 54-31 halftime lead.
