SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah football is expected to host the USC Trojans this upcoming Saturday evening, it will be the first game of 2020 for the Utes. But, where will the teams dress with both the home and away locker rooms currently under construction?
The Utah program will use its practice facility to get ready for the contest and then jump on a bus and head to the stadium some 50 minutes prior to kickoff. The practice facility lies 700 yards from the stadium, so the ride over will be swift. Generally, during spring or fall camp, players are often seen walking from the facility to the stadium. However, because Utah is playing a competitive game the players will be required to take a bus to the stadium to solidify everybody’s safety.
We recently stopped by @Rice_Eccles Stadium at the @universityofutah to see how work was progressing with the south end-zone expansion. The steel structure is going vertical and the stands are taking shape. We’re working hard to get it done for the 2021 season. 🏈 #LaytonWay pic.twitter.com/Y3KsWOh1S1

A source told KSLSports.com that they believe USC will utilize tents as a makeshift locker. It is unknown where those tents will be located.
At halftime, USC will return to their (hopefully warm) tents, while Utah will position themselves in a room located on the south-west corner of the stadium. The room that Utah will occupy during halftime is generally used as a storage space for stadium equipment.
Without question, the festivities on Saturday evening will be a new experience for both teams.
However, locker rooms or not, a physical encounter between the Utes and the Trojans is assured and popcorn should be readily available.
