Timberwolves Select Anthony Edwards With No. 1 Pick In 2020 NBA Draft

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Minnesota Timberwolves selected Georgia guard Anthony Edwards with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.
The 2020 NBA Draft took place virtually on Wednesday, November 18.
Edwards joins a Minnesota core of Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell.
With the 1st pick in the #NBADraft, the Minnesota Timberwolves select Anthony Edwards from the University of Georgia.

During his only season with the Bulldogs, Edwards averaged 19.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 33.0 minutes per game.
