Lambson Leads No. 9 Timpview In Shutout Win Over Salem Hills

EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah – Targhee Lambson led the No. 9 Timpview Thunderbirds to a win over the No. 4 Salem Hills SkyHawks and into the 5A title game.
On Friday, November 13, the T-Birds and SkyHawks played at Cedar Valley High School in Eagle Mountain, Utah.
Lambson carried the Thunderbirds to a 37-0 victory over the Sky Hawks.
It’s the second straight season that the T-Birds have advanced to the 5A championship game.
The Timpview running back had 197 yards and two rushing touchdowns on 32 carries.
Thunderbirds quarterback Liu Aumavae tossed a pair of touchdown passes in the win.

The Salem Hills offense was limited to only 105 yards of total offense in the loss.
SkyHawks quarterback Jarret Elmer went 10/24 for 77 passing yards and two interceptions.
Timpview will advance to the finals to face the winner of No. 6 Maple Mountain (9-2) and No. 2 Orem (6-2) on Friday, November 20.
