Utah Football Receives Commitment From Four-Star Linebacker Ethan Calvert

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Four-star linebacker Ethan Calvert announced his commitment to Kyle Whittingham and the Utah Utes.
The linebacker committed to Utah on Thursday, November 12.
Calvert is a 6-3, 230-pound inside linebacker from Oaks Christian High School in Westlake Village, California.
He is the ninth ranked prospect in the state of California and No. 80 overall in the country, according to the 247 Sports Composite.

Other than Utah, Calvert received scholarship offers from UCLA, USC, Washington, Arizona, Boise State, BYU, California, Colorado, Dartmouth, Duke, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oregon, San Diego State, Stanford, Vanderbilt, and Washington State.

Calvert is the 16th player in the 2021 class to commit to Utah. He joins 4-star quarterback Peter Costelli, four-star inside linebacker Mason Tufaga, three-star running back Ricky Parks, three-star tight end Isaac Vaha, three-star defensive tackle Tevita Fotu, three-star inside linebacker Trey Reynolds, three-star athlete Velltray Jefferson, three-star offensive guard Koli Faaiu, three-star wide receiver Deamikkio Nathan, three-star defensive end Viliami Po’uha, three-star offensive tackle Zereoue Williams, three-star safety Darrien Stewart, three-star outside linebacker Jonah Elliss, and three-star cornerback Elisha Lloyd.
