Corner Canyon Reaches Third Consecutive Title Game Behind Dart’s Six Touchdowns

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The top seeded Corner Canyon Chargers advanced to their third straight state championship game behind a six touchdown performance by Jaxson Dart.
6A semifinal games were played at Cedar Valley High School in Eagle Mountain.
Here are all of the results from the semifinals round of the 6A state football playoffs.
No. 12 East 30 at No. 1 Corner Canyon 45
Dart and the Chargers defeated the No. 12 seed East Leopards to win their 39th consecutive game.
Corner Canyon owned a 31-7 lead at halftime and held on for a 15-point victory.
Dart led the Chargers with five passing touchdowns and one touchdown on the ground.
Izaak Zimmerman threw a pair of touchdowns for East in the Leopards’ loss.
Corner Canyon will advance to the finals to face Lone Peak (12-1) on Friday, November 20.

No. 3 Skyridge 24 at No. 2 Lone Peak 28
After trailing 17-7 at halftime, the Lone Peak Knights stormed back to defeat the Skyridge Falcons 28-24.
The Knights outscore the Falcons 21-7, including a 14-0 run in the third quarter.
Lone Peak’s Luke Durfey ran for a pair of touchdowns and Jonah Heimuli tossed a touchdown pass in the win.
Skyridge quarterback McCae Hillstead threw two touchdown passes in the win.
