Utah State Center Neemias Queta Named To Preseason All-Mountain West Team

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Media members selected Utah State center Neemias Queta as a member of the 2020-21 men’s basketball Preseason All-Mountain West team.
The all-conference team was released as part of the Mountain West’s menโs basketball virtual media day on Wednesday, November 11.
Queta was honored as a member of the team alongside Derrick Alston Jr. (Boise State), Isaiah Stevens (Colorado State), Matt Mitchell (San Diego State), and Bryce Hamilton (UNLV).

Queta is a 7-foot, 245 pound, center from Barreiro, Portugal.
Despite battling injuries last season, Queta helped the Aggies win the Mountain West Conference Tournament title.
The junior averaged a career-high 13.0 points along with 7.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.7 blocks in 22 games in 2019-20.

Queta and the Aggies open their 2020-21 slate against Wichita State on Wednesday, November 25 at 7:30 p.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on ESPN2.
