It’s the second straight week that Utah’s game has been canceled after their season opener against Arizona was called off due to multiple positive COVID-19 cases on the football team last week.
When the Pac-12 announced the return of the football season, they released a seven-game schedule to be played in seven weeks, so there will be no chance to make up canceled games.
Utah’s schedule will now feature only 5 games with the possibility of one more if they get to play in a bowl game.

According to Jon Wilner, UCLA will play Cal on Sunday. Cal’s game against Arizona State scheduled for this weekend was canceled due to a COVID-19 outbreak on ASU’s team.
In other Pac-12, COVID-19 news, the conference apologized earlier today for a mistake in testing that caused some Stanford student-athletes to miss last week’s game.
