Tony Finau Finishes Houston Open Tied For 24th

HOUSTON, Tex. – Tony Finau finished his last tournament before The Masters with a three-under score in the Houston Open.
After four rounds, Finau was tied for 24th with Austin Cook, Corey Conners, Scott Brown and Brian Harman.
In the first round on Thursday, Finau shot -1 with a 69. He shot the same score in the second round and was -2 for the tournament. On Saturday in the third round, Finau shot a 68 before scoring a +1, 71 in the final round.
Finau’s Final Round
The Rose Park, Utah native started the final round on Sunday with a bogey, followed by a par on No. 2 and a birdie on the third hole. He then shot a bogey on No. 4, par on No. 5 and bogey on No. 6. Finau wrapped up the front nine with two pars on No. 7 and 8 and a bogey on No. 9.
It was a solid round on the back nine for Finau with six straight pars before getting a birdie on No. 16. He ended the day with a par No. 17 and birdie on No. 18.
For the tournament, Finau made 14 birdies, 48 pars, 9 bogeys and one double bogey.

The next tournament will be the 2020 Masters at Augusta National Golf Club. The tournament will take place from Nov. 12 to Nov. 15.
