SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The University of Utah football equipment staff revealed the uniform combination that the team will wear on Saturday in the 2020 season opener.
When the Utes line up on Nov. 7 against Arizona at Rice-Eccles Stadium, they will be wearing the interlocking U on their white helmets, red jerseys and white pants.
Last season, Utah wore throwback uniforms that had the interlocking U inside of the state of Utah outline. They wore that combination against Idaho State. Against Washington State two weeks later, the Utes wore the same uniform combination that they will be wearing this week.

Last season, Utah was 2-0 when wearing the uniform combination of white helmets, red jerseys and white pants. Since 2008, Utah is 7-3 when they wear this uniform combination.
Utah’s seven game schedule will begin against the Wildcats, who went 4-8 overall and 2-7 in conference play in 2019. Since joining the Pac-12, Utah is 5-4 versus Arizona and 2-2 at home. Winners of the last four games in this series, the Utes beat the Wildcats, 35-7 last season in Tucson on November 23.
The game on Saturday will kickoff at 2 p.m. MT and will be broadcast on ESPNU.
