Dolphins Linebacker Kyle Van Noy Recovers Fumble, Nearly Scores In Win Over Rams

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former BYU Cougars and current Miami Dolphins linebacker Kyle Van Noy recovered a fumble that almost resulted in a defensive touchdown in a win over the Los Angeles Rams.
The Dolphins hosted the Rams at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida on Sunday, November 1.
With 3:01 left in the second quarter, Rams quarterback Jared Goff coughed up the football on a sack by Shaq Lawson. Van Noy picked up the pigskin and returned the ball 28 yards to the Los Angeles one-yard line.

Van Noy’s recovery was his second fumble recovery this season.
The Dolphins converted on the following play and took a 28-10 lead into halftime.
Miami went on to win the game 28-17.
Van Noy finished with nine tackles, five solo tackles, two pass breakups, and a fumble recovery.

With the win, Van Noy and the Dolphins improved to 4-3 on the season.
Miami’s next contest is against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, November 8 at 2:25 p.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on CBS.
