SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Halloween feels a lot different this year, but that doesn’t mean ALL of the fun has to go away. Sometimes professional athletes absolutely slay their Halloween costumes – here’s a look at some the best.
Stay tuned to kslsports.com on Halloween for a look at what your favorites sports icons are dressing up as for #Halloween2020.
Alex Smith & Co. – Shark Attack
The Smith family does Halloween right. They have great family-themed costumes every year. In years past they’ve done Marvel and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but the one that really steals your heart is the “Shark Attack” theme.

The Smith family even used Alex Smith’s gruesome injury as somewhat of a prop for this one, so it deserves extra recognition.
Vegas Golden Knights Goalie Marc-Andre Fleury Channels His Inner Child
Marc-Andre Fleury has had his fair share of brilliant Halloween costumes – one being Cousin It from Adams Family – but the one that appears to have taken the most effort makes its way into our ranking.
Fleury channeled his inner child as a “green army man” from Toy Story and it just looks… SO REAL.
Ciara and Russell Wilson As The Queen B And Her Husband
Ciara and Russell Wilson are one of the sports’ most influential power couples. They channeled that energy into their Beyonce and Jay Z attire.
Steph Curry On His Tiny Bicycle
OK, here’s where it gets a bit scarier – it is Halloween after all. Steph Curry went the horror movie direction as Jigsaw from the Saw film franchise.
DeAndre Hopkins Doing The Absolute Most
Sticking with the movie character theme, former Houston Texans star DeAndre Hopkins did the absolute most in 2018 when he dressed up as a character from the film Avatar.

He needs to post a make-up tutorial or something.
Purple Rain, Purple Rain, P.K. Subban
Rounding it out with an icon. New Jersey Devils defenseman P.K. Subban paid tribute to a legend with his purple velour suit.
