BYU QB Zach Wilson Airs Out Deep Throw For Cougars’ Fifth Touchdown Against Texas State
PROVO, Utah – BYU quarterback Zach Wilson aired out a deep ball to wide receiver Dax Milne for the Cougars’ fifth touchdown against the Texas State Bobcats.
The No. 12 Cougars hosted the Bobcats at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Saturday, October 24.
Late in the first half, Wilson sailed a ball 45 yards downfield into the arms of Milne to give BYU a 35-7 lead over Texas State with 27 seconds left in the second quarter.
The Cougars went into the locker room with the 28-point margin.

Wilson was 18/21 for 257 yards and three touchdowns in the first half. He added four carries for 15 yards.
This season, Wilson has tossed 15 touchdowns and accounted for 21 total touchdowns.
Milne’s touchdown reception was his first of the game. He had four catches for 89 yards and the score in the first 30 minutes of action.
