NBA2K Releases Jazz Player Ratings

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The popular NBA2k video game series updated their ratings for some members of the Utah Jazz roster. All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell comes in as the highest-rated player on the roster with an 88 overall rating. Fellow All-Star Rudy Gobert earned a rating of 87.

The game was originally released on September 4 during the NBA’s restart in Orlando, but player ratings are being updated after the Los Angeles Lakers won the 2020 NBA championship, and ahead of the game’s release on next-generation consoles in November.

Bojan Bogdanovic is the Jazz third-best player according to the game. The Croatian sharpshooter has a rating of 81, besting veteran point guard Mike Conley who earned a 79 rating.

How Jazz Player Stack Up:

Mitchell was ranked as the 18th best player in the NBA according to the initial 2k21 ratings. The Jazz guard is joined by Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young, Oklahoma City guard Chris Paul, Houston Rockets guard Russell Westbrook, Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam, Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker, and Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal with an 88 overall rating.

Gobert is ranked as the league’s 29th best player, with his 87 rating tied with Dallas Mavericks big man Kristaps Porzingis, Philadelphia 76ers guard Ben Simmons, and Raptors guard Kyle Lowry.

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (98) is the game’s highest-ranked player according to the latest rankings. James was tied with Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo with a rating of 97 when the game debuted in September.

Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard (96), Houston Rockets guard James Harden (96), and Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant (95) round out the top five players in the game.

Jazz Legend Ratings:

Karl Malone and John Stockton are the two highest-rated players on the Jazz 2k Classic Team. “Pistol” Pete Maravich earned a rating of 95, while fellow Hall of Famer Adrian Dantley was rated 92 overall.

Two-time Defensive Player of the Year Mark Eaton has an 89 overall rating, as does former do-it-all forward Andrei Kirilenko. Gordon Hayward and Carlos Boozer have reached earned ratings of 88 from the game’s creators.

Gobert also has an 88 rating in the Jazz all-time ratings, though he dropped a point for the 2020-21 season.
