OL Reign Blanks Royals FC In Utah’s Fall Series Finale

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The OL Reign shutout Utah Royals FC in the Sandy-based soccer club’s NWSL Fall Series finale.
OL Reign hosted Utah at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma, Washington on Saturday, October 17.
The Royals suffered a 2-0 loss to close of the club’s 2020 slate of matches.
OL Reign’s Sofia Huerta scored the match’s first goal in the 24th minute of action.

Utah trailed 1-0 at halftime before Leah Pruitt added another score for OL Reign in the opening minutes of the second half.

It was the first victory of the Fall Series for OL Reign.
The Royals were outshot 23-10, including 11-5 in shots on goal.

Utah finished the NWSL Fall Series with zero wins, two losses, and a pair of draws.
