SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – BYU Wide Receiver Gunner Romney was added to the Biletnikoff Award watch list. BYU announced the news Wednesday morning.
The Biletnikoff Award recognizes the season’s best FBS receiver each year. Any player, regardless of position, can get the award.

Romney is having a spectacular season, and is a part of the reason the Cougars are 4-0. He has 20 receptions for 453 yards and two touchdowns through four games this season.
His 22.65 yards per reception and 113.3 yards per game both rank 10th nationally. He started this season with three straight 100-yard games.
Romney, a junior, came to BYU from Chandler, Arizona and has been an essential piece of the offense headed by junior quarterback Zach Wilson.
