SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The internet is chock-full of remote learning follies during the coronavirus pandemic. With many students forced to take classes online, the fear of a family member carelessly appearing in the background of a meeting has become commonplace across the country. Now, Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell can add his name to the list of embarrassing family members after he trolled his sister Jordan during one of her online classes.
In a video posted on the Jazz All-Star’s Instagram page, Mitchell is seen behind his sister holding a whiteboard that says “Hey Guys!” as he dances in the background.

Despite her best effort, Jordan had a hard time containing her laughter as she attempted to regain her concentration on the class.
“Stop Donovan,” Jordan begged of her older brother. “I can’t hear.”
Mitchell continues to tap on the whiteboard as the teacher explains to the students where they can access their classwork online.
Jordan has made regular appearances in Mitchell’s life since joining the Jazz. The third-year guard lives with his mom and sister during the offseason, and both have been in attendance at games and events to support their rising star.
During Mitchell’s rookie season, he brought his younger sister onto the floor during the NBA’s Sprite Slam Dunk Contest along with comedian Kevin Hart and proceeded to dunk over the duo en route to a contest victory.

“She’s done a lot, and I’m getting kind of emotional just saying all this,” Mitchell said of his sister’s sacrifice after the contest. “But, yeah—she’s a trooper. She’s been there. She’s driven in the car 14 hours with my mom to Louisville and watched the game and then drove back the same night.”
