Giants Linebacker Kyler Fackrell Returns Interception 46 Yards For First NFL Touchdown

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah State and current New York Giants linebacker Kyler Fackrell picked off a pass by Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and returned the ball 46 yards for his first career touchdown.
The Cowboys hosted the Giants at AT&T Stadium on Sunday, October 11.
With 6:01 left in the opening quarter of the game, Fackrell broke on a pass by Prescott that was intended for Ezekiel Elliott and intercepted the ball.
The former Aggie took the ball 46 yards to the end zone for his first NFL touchdown. Fackrell’s house call gave the Giants a 14-3 lead over the Cowboys.

Fackrell and New York entered the game with an 0-4 record on the season.
This season, the former USU linebacker has 14 total tackles, 11 solo tackles, two sacks, one pass breakup, an interception, and a touchdown.

About Kyler Fackrell
Fackrell is in his first season with the Giants after agreeing to a one-year deal during the off-season. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the linebacker joined New York on a deal worth $4.6 million.
Prior to signing with New York, Fackrell was a member of the Green Bay Packers. During his tenure with the Packers, Fackrell recorded 111 tackles, including 21 tackles for loss, 16.5 sacks, one forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 61 games played.
The Packers selected Fackrell in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Before getting drafted by Green Bay, Fackrell spent four seasons with Utah State. While playing with the Aggies, he posted 253 tackles, 36 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, 4 interceptions, 4 forced fumbles, 5 fumble recoveries and two touchdowns in 41 games played in Logan.
