Kearns High School Star Jeff Bassa Commits To Oregon Football

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Kearns High School star safety Jeff Bassa verbally committed to the University of Oregon.
Bassa announced his final three choices between Utah, Oklahoma State and Oregon on September 8.
He announced his decision to join the Ducks on social media on Monday.

The Kearns safety is three-star prospect that is ranked No. 6 in the state of Utah and the 50th ranked safety in the nation.
Other than Utah, Oklahoma State and Oregon, Bassa received offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Hawai’i, Kansas, Oregon State, Syracuse, UNLV, Utah State and Washington State.
Bassa is the third player from the state of Utah in the 2021 class that has committed to Oregon. He joins top-ranked prospect offensive tackle Kingsley Suamataia and the No. 2 player in the state in Corner Canyon center Jackson Light.
Kearns is 7-1 on the season after suffering their first loss of the year to West last week. The Cougars are ranked No. 10 in the latest Game Night Live Power Rankings.
