It’s the seventh goal of the season for the Croatian in his 16th match of 2020. RSL is desperate for a win as they are currently sitting below the playoff line with 19 points. They have either lost or tied their last three matches. Real Salt Lake’s last win was on September 23 with a 2-0 victory over the Los Angeles Galaxy. Then they had a 0-0 draw versus Minnesota United.
From that point, RSL lost their next two matches in a 3-1 defeat to LAFC and 2-1 to Seattle on Wednesday.
Vancouver is sitting just below RSL in the Western Conference standings with 15 points.
