Own Goal By Sounders FC Gives Real Salt Lake First Goal

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – An own goal by Seattle Sounders FC gave Real Salt Lake its first goal of the match in the Pacific Northwest.
Seattle hosted RSL at CenturyLink Field on Wednesday, October 7.
With Real Salt Lake trailing 2-0 in the 68th minute, an own goal by Seattle’s Nouhou Tolo cut the deficit to only one score.

At the point of the goal, the Sounders and RSL were nearly knotted up in time of possession.
Despite the equality time of control, Real Salt Lake found itself in a 2-0 hole after a pair of goals by Seattle.
The Sounders struck first in the 28th minute to go up 1-0.
