Family Time
During his time away from the Tour, Finau has been spending valuable time with his family while also attending and promoting charity golf events such as the Tony Finau Foundation scramble that took place at Alpine Country Club last week.
Every year, Finau, his family and his foundation deliver a one-of-a-kind golfing event for local golf fans in Utah. All of the money raised at the event helps the Tony Finau Foundation “empower and inspire youth and their families to discover, develop, and achieve the best of their gifts and talents through the game of golf, educational funding, and core family values.”

No Featured Group
The PGA Tour announced their featured groups for the first two rounds on Thursday and Friday. Finau was not listed as a member of the groupings.
Finau fans will need to rely on a strong start for Finau if they intend on seeing him on television throughout the first two days.
In 2019, Finau finished in a tie for 36th at the event after four rounds of 69, 68, 69 & 68. Finau finished with a combined score of -10 but found himself 11 shots off the champion Bryson DeChambeau.
Tee times for the event are yet to be announced but are expected to be released tomorrow (Wednesday, October 7).
