Real Salt Lake Unable To Come Back From Halftime Deficit Against LAFC

SANDY, Utah – Real Salt Lake struggled to prevent LAFC’s offense from rolling early and was unable to overcome a 2-0 halftime deficit.
RSL hosted Los Angeles at Rio Tinto Stadium on Sunday, October 4.
LAFC had its offense pressing and rolling in the first half. At the break, the visiting squad owned a 2-0 advantage.

During the opening minutes of the second half, LAFC added another score to go up 3-0.
In the 64 minute of play, RSL defender Marcelo Silva knocked in header to prevent a shutout and gave the Utah club its first goal of the match.

LAFC earned three points and moved ahead of RSL in the Western Conference standings.
With the loss, RSL moved to a record of 4-6-5 and has 14 points in the West.
