SANDY, Utah – Defender Marcelo Silva converted a corner kick to get Real Salt Lake on the scoreboard against LAFC.
RSL hosted Los Angeles at Rio Tinto Stadium on Sunday, October 4.
With LAFC up 3-0 in the second half, Silva knocked in a header on a corner to give RSL its first goal of the game.

Silva’s goal cut LAFC’s lead to 3-1 during the 64th minute of action.

It was the defender’s first goal of the 2020 season and his third as a member of Real Salt Lake.
Silva entered the match with seven shots on goal in eight appearances this season.
