BYU QB Zach Wilson Opens Game Against Louisiana Tech With Perfect Drive

PROVO, Utah – BYU quarterback Zach Wilson opened the Cougars’ game against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs with a flawless drive.
The No. 22 ranked Cougars hosted the Bulldogs at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Friday, October 2.
After BYU’s defense forced La. Tech to punt on the first possession of the game, Wilson marched the Cougars down the field with a perfect drive. The junior quarterback capped the possession off with a nine-yard touchdown run.
On the Cougars’ first drive, Wilson went 3-3 passing for 63 yards and one carry for nine yards and a touchdown.

BYU took a 7-0 lead with 10:02 left in the first quarter.
It was Wilson’s six total touchdown this season.

The BYU quarterback entered the contest with a completion percentage of 78.3 percent, 624 passing yards, and four touchdowns through the air. Wilson has only one interception this season.
On the gr0und, he entered the game accounting for a pair of touchdowns.
