BYU and LA Tech scheduled this game two weeks ago after the Bulldogs game against Baylor was postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak within the Bulldog program during Hurrican Laura.
This is a one-game guarantee matchup with BYU hosting LA Tech and no return visit in future seasons.
Friday night’s matchup will mark the first-ever meeting on the gridiron between the two programs. BYU and LA Tech had a game scheduled in 2011 when the Bulldogs were members of the WAC, but that game was never rescheduled.
