Bengals DB LeShaun Sims Picks Off Carson Wentz In Tie With Eagles

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Southern Utah Thunderbirds and current Cincinnati Bengals defensive back LeShaun Sims recorded an interception during a tie game with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagles hosted the Bengals on Sunday, September 27.
Late in the third quarter, Wentz aired out a deep ball intended for Eagles tight end Zach Ertz.
Sims snagged the ball out of the air with 1:50 left in quarter and the Bengals up 17-16.

It was Sims’ first interception of the 2020 season and it came in his first game as a member of the Bengals.
The following possession resulted in a field goal by Cincinnati and increased the Bengals’ lead to 20-16 with one quarter to play.
After the fourth quarter and an overtime period, the Bengals and Eagles were tied at 23-23 and both teams moved to 0-2-1 on the season.
