Former BYU Linebacker Fred Warner Leads Niners In Big Win Over Giants

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former BYU and current San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner led his team to a big win over the New York Giants in week three of the 2020 NFL season.
Warner, a captain for the Niners, helped San Francisco to a 36-9 win over New York. The 49ers improved to 2-1 on the season with the result.

The former Utah linebacker and the Cardinals fell 26-23 to the Detroit Lions.

Jaylon Johnson – Cornerback – Chicago Bears (3-0)

John Penisini – Defensive Tackle – Detroit Lions (1-2)
The former Utah defensive lineman had one tackle in the Lions’ 26-23 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
