Corner Canyon Chargers Continue To Dominate In KSLSports.com HS Football Rankings

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Corner Canyon Chargers remain atop the rankings for the seventh straight week after winning their 32nd straight game with a 38-7 win over the Pleasant Grove Vikings.

Each week the KSL Sports team votes on the top 20 schools in the state across all classifications.

Here is the Game Night Live Top 20 power rankings in the state of Utah as voted on by the KSL Sports team entering the sixth week of the season.

20. Beaver Beavers (6-0)

The Beaver Beavers entered the rankings this week with their impressive 6-0 record. It will be fun to see if the 2A power house can maintain that perfect record throughout the season.

19. Ridgeline RiverHawks (4-1)

After a loss to Sky View the Ridgeline RiveHawks slid from No. 16 to No. 19. The team will host Logan this week in hopes of sliding back up.

18. Timpview Thunderbirds (2-3)

The Timpview Thunderbirds have won their last two games after starting the season off 0-3. They’ll battle it out at Lehi this week in an attempt to even out that record.

17. Bonneville Lakers (5-1)

The Bonneville Lakers have posted a pretty impressive season thus far and will look to continue their hot streak this week at Woods Cross.

16. Salem Hills SkyHawks (5-0)

The Salem Hills SkyHawks have been impressive this season and haven’t lost a game yet. They’ll look to keep a zero in the loss column this week when they host the Springville Red Devils.

15. Wasatch Wasps (5-1)

The Wasps had a minor setback to their season when they suffered their first loss of the season on the road against undefeated Pleasant Grove to start September, but they haven’t lost since. They look to keep the winning streak alive in Provo this week.

14. Lehi Pioneers (4-2)

The Lehi Pioneers’ place in the rankings remained steady this week after their win over Provo last week. They’ll look to make a move up this week after their game against Timpview.

13. Skyline Eagles (6-0)

The Skyline Eagles haven’t lost yet this season but won’t play against unil next month at Olympus.

12. Orem Tigers (3-2)

The Orem Tigers haven’t played since their win over Alta on September 4. Their next game is slated for October 2 against Timpview

11. Bingham Miners (5-2)

The Bingham Miners remain steady at No. 11 in this week’s rankings. They’ll look to break into the top ten this week after their game against East.

T-9. Davis Darts (5-1)

The Davis Darts lost their first game of the season last week and will look to bounce back from that loss against Syracuse.

T-9. Sky View Bobcats (6-0)

The Sky View Bobcasts held onto that undefeated record last week, but will they be able to do it again this week against Mountain Crest?

T-7. American Fork Cavemen (5-1)

Skyridge handed the American Fork Cavemen their first loss of the season on last week’s Game Night Live game of the week. The Cavemen look to bounce back against Westlake this week.

T-7. Kearns Cougars (6-0)

The Kearns Cougars have a shiny 6-0 record on the season. They look to keep that against Hunter on Friday.

6. Brighton Bengals (6-0)

The Brighton Bengals won’t get to try and make it 7-0 this week after their game against Skyline was cancelled. They’ll play against on October 2.

5. Pleasant Grove Vikings (5-1)

Corner Canyon handed Pleasant Grove their first loss of the season last week. The Vikings look to bounce back against Skyridge this week.

4. Roy Royals (6-0)

The Roy Royals shot up the rankings last week after their win against Davis, making them undefeated thus far. This week they look to keep the momentum going against Northridge.

3. Lone Peak Knights (6-0)

The Lone Peak Knights are yet to be beaten this season but they’ll face a challenge against the No. 1 team in the state, Corner Canyon, this week.

2. Skyridge Falcons (6-0)

Another undefeated team, the Skyridge Falcons look to coast through their game against the No. 5 Pleasant Grove Vikings this week.

1. Corner Canyon Chargers (6-0)
