Finau’s Round
The Rose Park, Utah native started the first round with two straight pars on Nos. 1 and 2. He followed up with two consecutive bogeys on the third and fourth holes. After a par on No. 5, Finau scored a birdie on No. 6. Two straight pars came after the birdie before Finau nailed his second birdie to finish the front-nine at even par.
The back-nine started with a par on No. 10 before nailing two straight birdies on No. 11 and 12. Finau pared the 13th hole. On No. 14, Finau recorded a bogey, followed by a par on No. 15, and a birdie on No. 16. Finau was given a penalty on the 17th hole for causing the ball to move. That was later overturned and given a bogey rather than a double bogey.
He ended the round with a par on No. 18.
