Real Salt Lake Forward Justin Meram Connects From Close Range Against LAFC

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Forward Justin Meram chipped in a shot to lift Real Salt Lake to a score goal advantage early in the second half against Los Angeles FC.
RSL hosted LAFC at Rio Tinto Stadium on Wednesday, September 9.
In the 47th minute, Meram was in the right place at the right time as RSL’s attack was crowded in the box.
The forward kicked in a close range look and buried the ball into the back of the net to give the Claret and Cobalt a 2-0 lead.

Real Salt Lake’s first score of the match came during the ninth minute of action when Maikel Chang found Damir Kreilach inside the box. Kreilach knocked in the header for a 1-0 lead.
The goal was Meram’s second of the 2020 season.

With the score, the forward now has 45 goals in his MLS career over nine seasons in the league.
