No. 11 Sky View Searching For Fifth Straight Win When They Face Rival Green Canyon

LOGAN, Utah – No. 11 Sky View will look for their fifth straight win of the season when they travel to their rival Green Canyon in the Game Night Live Game of the Week.
Sky View is off to a 4-0 start to the season after beating Madison, Idaho, 54-13 last week. Meanwhile, the Wolves have lost their last two games after starting the season 2-0. They began the season with a 42-13 win over Tooele and a 30-29 victory over Box Elder in Week 2. Green Canyon lost to Stansbury, 42-34 two weeks ago and suffered a 16-14 defeat at the hands of Morgan last week.
The Bobcats beat Stansbury 35-27 in the season opener and it has been blowout wins since. They knocked off Bonneville, 42-21 three weeks ago, shutout Highland High School in Idaho, 45-0 in Week 3 and the win over Madison last week. The Bobcats have won 16 straight games dating back to last season. Their last loss was to Skyridge in Week 2 on August 23, 2019.
Sky View is the defending 4A State Champions. Green Canyon is in their fourth season since opening in August 2017. Only 3.4 miles on Main Street separates the two schools. Sky View is in Smithfield, Utah while Green Canyon is in North Logan, Utah.
Since 2017, Sky View has won all three games against Green Canyon. The Bobcats started the rivalry with a 42-21 win at home in 2017, followed by a 42-34 victory at Green Canyon. Last season, Sky View picked up the 32-24 home win.

Sky View Bobcats
Kasen Carlsen is the starting quarterback for Sky View. Through four games, he has completed 59 of his 92 pass attempts for 873 yards, 7 touchdowns and one interception. Carlsen has also ran the ball 24 times for 95 yards.
Walter Collins is the leading rusher with 379 yards on 65 carries and has found the end zone 7 times on the ground. He has six receptions for 74 yards and one score through the air. Truman Moser added 26 rush attempts for 143 yards and 3 touchdowns through four games.
Leading the receiver group is Trey Neyman with 8 catches for 212 yards and one touchdown, averaging 26.5 yards per catch. Isaac Larsen has 10 receptions for 198 yards and one score. All of the touchdowns thrown by Carlsen have gone to different targets.
On defense, Sky View has two players that have two interceptions in four games, including Titan Saxton and Isaac Larsen. As a team, they have 7 picks and have sacked the opposing quarterback 4 times.
Green Canyon Wolves
Jake Lundin is the starting signal caller for the Wolves. He has passed for 770 yards, completing 63 of his 97 attempts to go with his 7 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. Running the ball, Lundin has 45 rush attempts for 312 yards and two scores.
Landon Peterson is the leading ball carrier for Green Canyon with 57 carries for 326 yards and 3 touchdowns.
They have two standout targets in the receiver group led by Jacob Regen with 26 catches for 413 yards and 5 touchdowns. Caden Stuart has caught 13 passes for 102 yards through four games.
On defense, Green Canyon has four interceptions by four different defenders. They have 10 sacks on the year, led by Cordell Coats with 3 along with two apiece from James Humphreys and Jackson Landon.
