Top Rated In-State Recruit Kingsley Suamataia Verbally Commits To Oregon

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The No. 1 recruit in the state of Utah and one of the top offensive tackles on the west coast, Orem star Kingsley Suamataia verbally committed to Oregon.
Last month, he named his top 7 schools that he is focusing on. Those schools included Oregon, USC, Virginia, Utah, Utah State, BYU and Arkansas.
Suamataia announced his decision on Tuesday evening. Oregon standout offensive lineman and former Desert Hills star Penei Sewell welcomed Suamataia to Duck Nation.

Sewell announced on Monday that he is opting out of the upcoming college football season and will prepare for the 2021 NFL Draft.
Not only is Suamataia the No. 1 ranked prospect in the state of Utah but he is also the 9th ranked offensive tackle in the country and the 72nd ranked recruit in the nation with a four-star rating.

Orem is ranked No. 9 in the state with a 3-1 record. They will face No. 4 Lone Peak on Friday at 7 p.m.
