No. 20 Ridgeline Remains Undefeated Behind Kaden Cox’s Big Game Against Bear River

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The No. 20 Ridgeline RiverHawks held off the Bear River Bears for a one-score victory on Friday.
No. 20 Ridgeline 34 Bear River 27
Kaden Cox threw four touchdown passes to lead the RiverHawks past the Bears 34-27.
Strat Simmons was on the receiving end of two of Cox’s touchdown tosses.
Bear River quarterback Josh Payne three a pair of touchdowns in the Bears’ loss.
Ridgeline improved to an undefeated 4-0 with the win. Bear Rive fell to 3-2 on the season.

Region 9
Cedar City 21 Pine View 55
The Pine View Panthers scored 20 unanswered points in the fourth quarter on the way to a 55-21 victory over the Cedar City Reds. The result improved the Panthers record to 4-1 this season and was their fourth straight win. Pine View quarterback Brayden Bushnell tossed four touchdowns in the big win.

Crimson Cliffs 40 Canyon View 7
The Crimson Cliffs Mustangs trampled the Canyon View Falcons 40-7 behind the rushing attack of Creed Leonard. Leonard ran for four touchdowns to lead the Mustangs to the big win. The victory improved Crimson Cliffs’ record to 3-2 on the year.

Desert Hills 0 Dixie 13
The Dixie Flyers posted a shutout on defense in a low scoring 13-0 affair with the Desert Hills Thunder. It was Dixie’s second consecutive victory and moved the Flyers to 2-3 on the season. Flyers quarterback Bronson Barben threw one touchdown in the game.
Hurricane 0 Snow Canyon 44
The Snow Canyon Warriors tamed the Hurricane Tigers in a 44-0 blowout on Friday night. Snow Canyon quarterback Landon Frei threw three touchdowns in the win. The victory improved the Warriors’ record to a perfect 5-0.
Region 10
Cedar Valley 28 Ben Lomond 21
The Cedar Valley Aviators picked up their second win of the season by holding off a late comeback attempt by the Ben Lomond Scots. Ben Lomond scored 14 unanswered points to close out the game but it wasn’t enough to prevent a 28-21 Cedar Valley victory. The Aviators’ Vili Mausia ran for three scores in the contest.

Ogden 3 Park City 48
The Park City Miners cruised to a 48-3 win over the Odgen Tigers on Friday evening. Park City’s Max Alford ran for a pair of touchdowns in the win. It was the third victory for the Miners this season.

Stansbury 44 Tooele 21
The Stansbury Stallions galloped to a quick 20-0 lead in the opening quarter and rode the lead to a 44-21 win over the Tooele Buffaloes. Stansbury’s Nate Bushnell ran for three touchdowns in the contest. The result was the fourth consecutive win by the Stallions and moved them to 4-1 on the season.
Uintah 0 Mountain View 49
The Mountain View Bruins blanked the Uintah Utes 49-0 on Friday evening. Bruins quarterback Jackson McCarty tossed three touchdowns in the win. Mountain View improved to 4-1 on the year with the result.

Mountain Crest 6 Logan 35
The Logan Grizzlies overpowered the Mountain Crest Mustangs for a 35-6 win on Friday. Logan’s Kody Kirk tossed a pair of touchdown passes in the win. The victory improve the Grizzlies’ record to 2-3 on the season.
