Tony Finau Approaching Top 10 Entering Final Round Of Tour Championship

ATLANTA, Ga. – Tony Finau is approaching the top 10 of the leaderboard in the Tour Championship after a strong third round on Sunday.
Finau is currently at -7 for the tournament after shooting a 66 (-4) in the third round. He is tied for 12th place with five other golfers.
The Rose Park, Utah native is 12 shots back of the current leader Dustin Johnson who is -19 through three rounds.

Finau’s Round
A strong start on the front-nine for Finau as he began the round with a birdie, followed by a par on No. 2 and another birdie on the third hole. After two straight pars, Finau nailed his third birdie of the round on the sixth hole. Finau made par on No. 7 but struggled to finish the front-nine with two straight bogey’s.
He rebounded with a birdie on the 10th hole. Finau made par on the next two holes before getting another birdie on No. 13. Two more pars after that for Finau before getting his final bogey of the round on No. 16. A strong finish for the Utah native with birdies on the final two holes.
Through the round, Finau made seven birdies, 8 pars and three bogey’s.
