Fall Series To Conclude NWSL 2020 Season As Utah Royals Begin Preperations

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Royals FC can now start preparing for competitive soccer matches against opposing National Women’s Soccer League teams following an announcement by the league this afternoon.
The Fall Series is how the NWSL is marketing it and will include regional pods of three teams.

Utah Royals are grouped with the Portland Thorns and OL Reign and will be participating in four matches to round out the 2020 season.
Utah Royals will have its first match on Sunday, September 20 at 1:00 p.m. MT against Portland Thorns FC at Providence Park streamed live on Twitch.
Utah Royals FC will return to Rio Tinto Stadium for two matches beginning on September 26 at 1:30 p.m. against OL Reign, the match will be streamed live on CBS All-Access. One week later Royals FC will feature in the NWSL Game of the Week on CBS Sports Network when they take on Portland for the second and final time in the series. The match will kick-off at 8:00 p.m. MT on Saturday, October 3 at the RioT.
The final game of the season will be on Saturday, October 17 at Cheney Stadium against OL Reign. Kick-off is set for 6:00 p.m. MT and can be streamed live on CBS All-Access.
