Real Salt Lake’s Pablo Ruiz Rockets Shot To Level Scoreboard Against Seattle Sounders

SANDY, Utah – Real Salt Lake midfielder Pablo Ruiz rocketed a shot from outside the box to level the scoreboard late in the second half against the Seattle Sounders.
Ruiz and RSL hosted the Sounders at Rio Tinto Stadium on Wednesday, September 2.
In the 85th minute, the midfielder powered a shot from far out all the way into the back of the net.
The goal tied the match at 2-2.

The equalizer proved to be a point-saving score as the match ended at 2-2 after four minutes of stoppage time. With the result, RSL earned one point.
Ruiz’s score was his first goal of the season and ninth of his RSL career.
This season, Ruiz has recorded six shots, including three shots on goal in five matches.
The midfielder has played for Real Salt Lake since 2018.
