Donovan Mitchell, Jamal Murray Battle In Tight Game Between Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell and Denver Nuggets Jamal Murray found themselves in another battle at the two teams went to the final minutes of the fourth quarter of Game 5.
Mitchell and the Jazz held a 3-1 series lead over Murray and the Nuggets as they entered Game 5 on Tuesday, August 25.
The two guards have been the featured stars of the first round series, including 50 point performances by both in Game 4. In Game 5, the two guards once again led their teams in scoring late in the contest.
With 8:33 remaining in the game, Mitchell led Utah with 22 points on 8-16 shooting, including 3-5 from downtown.

Murray carried the Nuggets with the majority of their second half points. He had 31 points on 12-21 field goals early in the fourth.
The Nuggets guard took over late in the third quarter to help cut into the Jazz’s lead.
Murray was spectacular including making a spinning layup.
