Utah Jazz Guard Jordan Clarkson Torches Net For Back-To-Back Three Pointers

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson torched the net for back-to-back three-point makes during the second quarter of Game 5 against the Denver Nuggets.
Clarkson and the Jazz held a 3-1 series lead over the Nuggets as they entered Game 5 on Tuesday, August 25.
The Jazz sixth man caught fire midway through the second quarter to held the Jazz take their largest lead of the on a pair of triples on consecutive possessions.

Clarkson’s second three-pointer of the game came on a pass from Donovan Mitchell with 5:12 remaining until halftime.
31 seconds later, the Missouri product connected on another attempt from downtown to put the Jazz up 51-43 before the Nuggets called timeout.

After the buckets, Clarkson was up to a Jazz-high 14 points on 5-10 shooting, including 3-5 from beyond the arc. He added 2 rebounds and 2 assists during his first 14 minutes on the court.
This season, Clarkson is averaging 15.2 points on 46.2 shooting and 36.6 percent of his attempts from three-point range.

In first four games of the series, he averaged just under 20 points per contest.
At halftime, Clarkson and the Jazz held a 63-54 lead.
