Stansbury Gets Past Green Canyon For Second Straight Win

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Stansbury Stallions won their second straight game with a 42-34 victory at home over Green Canyon.
Green Canyon held a 21-14 lead at the half before Stansbury stormed back in the second half with two touchdowns in both the third and fourth quarters. Kru Huxford threw three touchdowns and ran for another score on the ground. He connected with Cayden Clark twice and once to Brandon Funk. Nate Bushnell and Pae Tia each added a rushing score in the win.
For Green Canyon, Jake Lundin threw his three touchdown passes to two targets, including two to Jacob Regen and one to Landon Peterson, who also had a rushing touchdown. McKade Hellstern added a rushing TD.

Snow Canyon 24 Morgan (3A) 13
The Snow Canyon Warriors used a 24 point second quarter to carry out a 24-13 win over the Morgan Trojans on Friday night. Snow Canyon Landon Frei tossed a trio of touchdown passes in the quarter to help the Warriors to their third win of the year.
Ben Lomond 29 Evanston, Wyo. 14
The Ben Lomond Scots held Evanston scoreless in the first half and posted 20 points of their own in the second half to win 29-14.
Dixie 20 Mountain View 21
Mountain View pulled ahead late in the fourth quarter with a rushing touchdown. Dixie had a 17-14 first half lead but only scored a field goal in the second half.
Enterprise (2A) 6 Canyon View 41
The Canyon View Falcons used a big first half of offense and strong defense to blast the Enterprise Wolves 41-6 on Friday. Canyon View scored 34 points in the opening 24 minutes of action and cruised to the big win. Falcons quarterback Jake Garrett threw five touchdowns in the blowout.

Farmington (5A) 7 Ridgeline 45
The Ridgeline RiverHawks blasted the Farmington Phoenix 45-7 on Friday evening. The Riverhawks scored 28 points in the first half and rode the big lead to a blowout win.
Milford (2A) 6 Ogden 30
Ogden scored 24 unanswered points before Milford found the end zone as Bo Hardy connected with Bret Beebe. Jaice Holt threw one touchdown pass to Enrique Gomez. Logan Shobe ran in two touchdowns for Ogden while Ozzy Norton returned an interception 90-yards for a touchdown.
Murray (5A) 14 Cedar Valley 41
The Cedar Valley Aviators grabbed their first victory of the season with a 41-14 win over the Murray Spartans. Cedar Valley’s Peyton Weber accounted for three scores in the win.
Pine View 41 at Park City 40
Pine View had a seven point lead late in the game when Kirby Baynes returned a kickoff 95-yards for a touchdown but the Miners missed the extra point to tie the game. For Pine View, Brayden Bunnell threw four touchdown passes to Preston Mann twice and once each to Enoch Takau and Dominque McKenzie. Takau also ran in two rushing TD’s. For Park City, Chase Beyer threw one touchdown to Max Alford while Baynes had two rushing touchdowns and Seth Warner added one score on the ground.
Uintah 7 at Providence Hall (3A) 27
Providence Hall had a 20-7 halftime lead and held Uintah scoreless in the second half while scoring one touchdown. Michael Scott had one passing and one rushing touchdown while Vaela’a Apisala and Jacob Walsh each added a rushing score. Josh Spiers threw one touchdown pass to Lazarus Pretty Paint for Uintah.
