Jordan Clarkson, Donovan Mitchell Combine For 37 Points In First Half

ORLANDO, Fla. – Game 4 against the Denver Nuggets was a tougher challenge in the first half for the Utah Jazz. They relied on Donovan Mitchell and Jordan Clarkson to provide the spark offensively through the first 24 minutes of play.
At the halftime break, the Nuggets held a 65-64 lead over Utah while the Jazz hold a 2-1 series lead. The Jazz beat the Nuggets by 37-points in Game 3 on Friday.
Mitchell and Clarkson scored 37 points combined in the first half. Mitchell dropped 22 points along with 3 assists and one rebound on 7 of 9 shooting from the field, 2 for 2 from downtown and a perfect 6 of 6 at the foul line. The Jazz all-star scored 13 points in the first quarter and 9 points in the second.

Clarkson had 15 points and 2 rebounds on 6 of 8 field goal shooting, 2 for 4 from beyond the arc and one for one at the charity stripe. The sixth man scored 6 points in the opening quarter and dropped 9 in the second quarter.
After Denver built an eight point lead, Jordan Clarkson airlifts the Jazz back into the game.
He and Donovan Mitchell both have 13 points early in the first half.

The Jazz were efficient shooting the ball, going 21 of 36 points for 58 percent, 7 of 15 from the perimeter for 46 percent and 15 of 19 at the free throw line.
Jamal Murray struggled for Denver in the Games two and three but bounced back in the first half of Game 4 with 18 points. Paul Millsap added 14 points and Nikola Jokic chipped in 11.
