Mavericks Star Luka Donic Drills Game-Winning Three, Ties Series With Clippers

ORLANDO, Fla. – Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic drilled the game-winning three-pointer to give them a 135-133 win in overtime over the Los Angeles Clippers.
The big shot by Doncic tied the best-of-seven series with the Clippers at two games apiece.
The Clippers held a one-pointer lead in the final seconds of overtime when Doncic was guarded by Reggie Jackson and the second-year player stepped back and made a deep-three pointer at the buzzer.

Doncic was a game-time decision for Game 4 after suffering an ankle injury in Game 3 on Friday. The Mavericks were without big man Kristaps Porzingis who was out with a knee injury.
Doncic finished with his second straight triple-double with 43 points, 17 rebounds and 13 assists in 46 minutes on the floor. He shot 18 of 31 from the field and 4 for 10 from the three-point line.
Former Jazzman Trey Burke added 25 points on 4 of 5 shooting from downtown. He joined the Mavericks in Orlando after being cut by the Philadelphia 76ers. Tim Hardaway Jr. added 21 points.
For the Clippers, Lou Williams led the way with 36 points off the bench. Kawhi Leonard posted 32 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists on 10 of 22 field goal shooting and 3 for 9 from the perimeter. Paul George struggled once again offensively, recording 9 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. PG-13 shot just 3 of 14 from the floor and 1 for 7 from beyond the arc.
Game 5 will be on Tuesday at 7 p.m. MT and will be broadcast on TNT.
