Damir Kreilach’s Rocket Shot Ties Real Salt Lake With Colorado Rapids

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Real Salt Lake midfielder Damir Kreilach rocketed a shot from outside the box and into the back of the goal to equalize the score with the Colorado Rapids.
Kreilach and RSL played on the road against Colorado on Saturday, August 22.
In the 57th minute of play, the midfielder buried a laser shot into the right side of the net to tie Real Salt Lake and Colorado at 1-1.

Colorado took a 1-0 lead during the 38th minute on an own-goal by RSL’s Aaron Herrera.

The goal was Kreilach’s third of the season.
So far in 2020, the midfielder has played in six games and accounted for eight shots, including six shots on goal. Entering the match against the Rapids, Kreilach had played 426 minutes this season for RSL.
