SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell rocked the rim with a powerful slam dunk to put Utah up 30 points on the scoreboard against the Denver Nuggets.
Mitchell and the Jazz played the Nuggets on Friday, August 21. Utah and Denver entered the meeting with their first-round series tied at 1-1.
The third-year guard jumped in front of a pass by Denver’s Nikola Jokic to create a one-man fast break.
Leaving everyone behind on the other side of the court, Mitchell rose up, reached his right arm back, and threw down a vicious jam to put the Jazz up 90-60 with 1:43 remaining in the third quarter.
