ORLANDO, Fla. – Utah Jazz guard Mike Conley was red-hot offensively in his first playoff game with his new team.

With 8:29 remaining remaining in the third quarter, Conley fired a three-pointer over Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray. Conley made the triple and was fouled. The Nuggets challenged the play and it was successful. The three-pointer still counted but their was not a foul on Murray.

Conley made his sixth straight three-pointer, not missing an attempt from beyond the arc through the first two and a half quarters of Game 3.

Utah was up 72-50 over the Nuggets in the third quarter.

At the time of that three-pointer, Conley had 18 points. He has since missed just one triple and is 6 of 7 from the perimeter with less than six minutes left in the third quarter.

It’s Conley’s first game of the postseason as a member of the Jazz. He missed the first two games of the series after leaving the NBA bubble to be with his wife for the birth of their son. Conley returned to the bubble on Monday and completed his four-day quarantine without a positive COVID-19 test and was able to return for Game 3. The series is tied at one game apiece.
