SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill continues to earn respect around the NFL. But that’s around the league. What about in his own locker room?
One of the star players for the Saints, running back Alvin Kamara, gave some high praise for the fourth-year man out of BYU.

Kamara joined Andrew Siciliano, Hall of Famer LaDainian Tomlinson, and former Giants lineman Shaun O’Hara on NFL Network’s Training Camp Live on Friday. The topic of Taysom Hill came up from O’Hara who asked Kamara, “What has that been like working with a guy like Taysom Hill?”

The three-time Pro Bowl running back responded by saying, “Working with Taysom, he’s so versatile. He can throw it, he can run it. He kind of got it all. Just working some different schemes with him and being able to switch up in our offense, you know, it’s been fun. Sky’s the limit.”
High praise from one of the NFL’s running backs. One of the game’s best wide receivers in Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas congratulated Taysom back in April after receiving a $21 million contract extension writing, “Well earned bro congratulations @T_Hill4.”

The Saints are one of the most well-ran organizations in football. They have a tight-knit culture and it will take a leader to potentially become Drew Brees’ heir apparent at quarterback. Respect from Kamara and Thomas has to go a long way in positioning Hill in the future with the franchise as the next quarterback.
Through his first three seasons in New Orleans, Hill has attempted 15 passes in both regular season and playoff action. Last year, Hill had one of the highlight moments during the Saints playoff loss against the Minnesota Vikings completing a 50-yard pass.
Earlier this week, Hill completed a beautiful deep pass down the sideline to Saints wide receiver Emmanuel Butler showing off the arm and accuracy that has drawn criticisms.
