ORLANDO, Fla. – Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell threw down an impressive double-clutch slam dunk against the Denver Nuggets in Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs.
Mitchell had the ball on the left wing when he blew past Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic. As Mitchell was going to the rim, he met Jerami Grant in the paint. The Jazz star soared by him and put the ball down by his chest and quickly brought the basketball back up and threw it down with his right hand.
Mitchell had 10 points in the second quarter and scored 8 in a matter of minutes after scoring just two points in the opening period. Mitchell helped the Jazz trim the Nuggets lead to 43-38 with 6:45 remaining in the first half.

Shortly after the dunk, Mitchell started heating up with a couple of three-pointers in the quarter.
The Jazz are without Mike Conley, who is with his family after the birth of their son on Sunday. Juwan Morgan started in place on Conley to give the Jazz more height and a presence on the perimeter.
