Utah Jazz Guard Mike Conley, Wife Share Photos Of Newborn Son Elijah

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Mike Conley shared a photo of his newborn son, Elijah, and another alongside his wife, Mary, from inside a hospital room.
The Conley’s welcomed their third child on Sunday, August 16.
“@livinglereve and baby are doing great! In the words of our oldest son , “Welcome to the world Lightning Thunder Michael Alex Conley”! We settled on Elijah Michael Conley instead.. close enough though,” Conley posted on Instagram. “What an awesome reminder of what’s important in life and what motivates us to be better! #mommydidgreat #blessed”

Mary Conley also shared a photo of the couple’s new son via Story post on her Instagram account.
“Hi!! Looks like my exhausting day of nesting was a sign I’d go into labor and we had a baby today! He’s just 11 days early but we were not expecting this!” she posted with the photo.

She posted additional photos of the couple and their newborn on her Facebook page.
Earlier on Sunday, the Jazz announced the point guard’s departure from the NBA bubble in Florida to be with his wife. Elijah’s original due date was set for August 27.

Following Conley’s departure from the bubble, multiple members of the Jazz tweeted their support of their teammate.

Conley has averaged 18 points, five assists, and three rebounds inside the NBA bubble. The veteran guard has played well against Utah’s first-round playoff opponent, the Denver Nuggets, this season, averaging 20.5 points and seven rebounds. Both stats are season-highs against any team this year for Conley.
The Jazz and Nuggets are scheduled to tip-off on Monday, August 17 at 11:30 a.m. (MDT). The game will broadcast on ESPN, AT&T SportsNet, and 97.5 FM.
